Additional Bone Loss Procedures
We may recommend a ridge augmentation to prepare your mouth to receive a dental implant. When a tooth is lost, the bone and gum tissue surrounding the socket will start to shrink. A ridge augmentation adds bone and/or gum tissue to the area to restore the natural contours of your jaw and gum line. We also use state-of-the-art platelet-rich plasma therapy, which contributes to tissue regeneration by promoting healing in our patients who have undergone procedures such as bone grafting, tooth extractions, dental implants, and gum surgery. When platelet-rich plasma is used in conjunction with bone grafting, your natural bone regenerate faster and harder.

Dr. Reese has benefited from extensive training in sub-specialties of dentistry, particularly in the care of medically compromised patients and prosthodontics from his alma mater, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
